Report on bullying published by Equalities and Human Rights Committee

The Scottish Parliament Equalities and Human Rights Committee has published its report on prejudice based bullying and harassment of young people in school.

The report, which includes evidence given by Barbara Coupar and Anthony Horan of the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland, contains 29 recommendations to the Scottish Government on how best to tackle bullying in Scotland’s schools. The report will be passed to the Government and it will be for Education Secretary John Swinney to decide whether or not to take forward any of the recommendations.
