Scottish Parliament releases handy new guides
The Scottish Parliament has published two new guides to help people better understand the role of Parliament and elected representatives.
The first publication, titled ‘Who Does What’ provides a very brief but extremely useful insight into the different functions of Parliament and Government, as well as the different powers exercised by the Scottish Parliament, UK Parliament and the European Parliament.
‘Your Representatives’ is the second publication and this brief guide is focused on the role of those elected to represent us, be they Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs), Members of the UK Parliament (MPs), Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), or local councillors. There are handy links allowing you to easily find out who represents you.
